Novo Nordisk receives FDA approval for Norditropin® FlexPro® for growth hormone treatment

Novo Nordisk announced today that the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Norditropin® FlexPro®, a new prefilled growth hormone injection pen to be used by children and adults.
Norditropin® FlexPro® has a unique new dosing mechanism, a user-friendly design which makes it easy to learn and use, and an audible click that confirms that the dose has been delivered. "With the advantages of our new Norditropin® FlexPro® we are convinced that daily injections will be made even simpler, so patients are better able to achieve their individual treatment goals," says Pablo de Mora, global vice president of Growth Hormone Treatment in Novo Nordisk.
